If you’re like most people, you probably use Excel to keep track of your finances. But did you know that you can add background pictures to your worksheets? In this article, we’ll show you how to do it. First, open up Excel 2007 and create a new worksheet. You can do this by clicking on the “New” button on the toolbar and selecting “Worksheet.” Next, click on the “Pictures” tab and select the picture that you want to use as your background. You can either drag and drop the picture from your computer or click on it and then select “Copy.” Now, go back to your new worksheet and paste the picture into the cell where you want it to appear. To resize the picture, just click on it and then use the mouse cursor to drag it around until it’s exactly where you want it. ..

First, open the spreadsheet you want to add the background to.

On the Ribbon click on Page Layout and select background.

This pops up the Sheet Background screen where you can select the background image you want to use.  Once you have chosen your background click the Insert button.

Now you have a background to your spreadsheet.  You may have to adjust some of the fonts and colors depending upon the background image.

Editor’s note: Might want to choose either a really dark or really light colored image.
