If you’re a Windows 7 user, then you know that there are a lot of ways to customize the taskbar. You can add widgets, change the color and style of the taskbar, and even add your own icons. But what if you want to customize the taskbar even more? Then you can use 7 Taskbar Tweaker. This tool allows you to create custom taskbars for your desktop, laptop, or tablet. Once you’ve installed 7 Taskbar Tweaker, it will start up automatically. To create a new custom taskbar, just click on the “New” button and enter a name for your new toolbar. You can also choose to have your toolbar display only when you’re in a specific window or on a specific device. Once you’ve created your custom taskbar, it’s time to test it out! To do this, just open up any of your favorite windows and start typing tasks into the “Tasks” field on the right side of the window. 7 Taskbar Tweaker

This small lightweight utility doesn’t require installation and does exactly what its name says. After launching the app you can go through and apply the various tweaks it has to offer.

 

Set Right-click to Standard window menu and instead of getting a Jumplist when right-clicking an icon, you’ll have the standard menu.

 

Change Dropping to Open With …which allows you to drag a file to an application and open it instead of getting the default Pin to option.

 

You can also Disable Thumbnail Preview when hovering over an application icon on the Taskbar.

Click on Settings to change the behavior of 7 Taskbar Tweaker to run at startup, hide main window. or hid tray icon.
