There are a few things you can do to disable auto play of blank CD or DVD media. The first is to insert the media into the drive and press the power button to turn on the media. Then, open the file manager and navigate to the folder where you stored your blank CD or DVD media. Double-click on the file to open it in a new window. If AutoPlay is enabled, it will be listed as an option under “AutoPlay.” To disable AutoPlay, click on the checkbox next to “AutoPlay when this media is inserted.”
To disable this, navigate to System \ Preferences \ Removable Drives and Media:
Uncheck the box, and you will no longer autoplay blank discs.
