If you’re a Windows 7 or Vista user, you may have noticed that thumbnail previews of websites and files are disabled by default. This is becauseThumbnail previews are used to help users see the contents of a website or file in a more condensed form. By disabling thumbnail previews, you can reduce the amount of time you spend trying to view a website or file.
Note that this works in Windows 7 or Vista
To make this change, click the Organize button on any folder, and choose Folder and Search Options from the menu.
Click the View tab, and then check the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox.
Click OK, and you’re done.
