Ubuntu Linux is a popular Linux distribution that is known for its user-friendly interface and wide range of applications. However, one downside of Ubuntu is that it can be difficult to enable smooth fonts on the system. This tutorial will show you how to do this. To enable smooth fonts on Ubuntu, first open the System Settings application by clicking the System icon in the top left corner of the desktop or by typing system into the terminal window. Then click on Appearance and Personalization. Under Fonts, click on the Text tab and then select Use Smooth Fonts from the drop-down menu. Click OK to apply these changes and close System Settings. Now you should be able to see a difference in how text looks on your desktop compared to when smooth fonts are not enabled. If you still experience problems with text appearing jagged or pixelated, there may be additional steps that need to be taken in order to fix this issue. However, by following these simple steps you should be able to get smooth fonts working properly on your Ubuntu system! ..
To enable this option, you need to edit the .fonts.conf file in your home directory. To create and open the file, run this command and paste in the xml data below it.

You’ll have to log out and back in to see the difference.
