WordPress is a popular content management system (CMS) used by millions of website owners. It’s easy to add comments to your posts and pages, but it can be tedious to manually enter the information for each comment. If you want to automate the process, there are several plugins and scripts that you can use. One plugin that you can use is Comment Form Filler by WPForms. This plugin allows you to automatically fill in the comment form fields with the data from your posts and pages. You can also use this plugin to add custom fields, send email notifications when comments are posted, and more. Another option is CommentLabs’ Comment Manager plugin. This plugin allows you to manage all of your comments in one place, including posting new comments, deleting old comments, and moderating comments. You can also set up rules for how comments are displayed on your site. If you don’t want to use a plugin or script, there are several ways that you can automate the process of filling in comment fields on your WordPress site. One option is to use a WordPress timer function to automatically post a new comment every X minutes or hours. Another option is to use an automated form submission service like Formidable Forms or Gravity Forms. ..
A much simpler way is to use an application to fill out the fields for you. I’ve chosen the Texter application, just because it’s the latest software that I’ve been playing with.
Download and install the software, and go through the tutorial on the download page. Once you’ve got it installed, hit Ctrl+Shift+H to bring up the Add new hotstring dialog, and enter the following, making sure to set the dropdown to “Script”, or else it won’t replace the {Tab} with an actual tab key.
You’ll want to give it a unique hotstring, something that you wouldn’t need to use in other applications. I chose wp1.
So now just type in wp1 into the name field in any comments box:
Hit the tab key, and you should see it auto-fill in the fields, and position the cursor in the comment box so you can write a personalized comment.
