Google Chrome is a popular web browser and one of the most popular browsers in use today. It has a number of features that make it an excellent choice for online browsing, including support for multiple tabs and offline browsing. One of the features that makes Google Chrome especially useful is its memory management system. This system allows you to clear your memory by closing all your tabs and then opening a new one. This will free up your computer’s resources so that you can continue using Google Chrome more efficiently. To clear your memory in Google Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the window. This will open a menu with several options.
  2. In the leftmost option, select “Settings.”
  3. In the “Settings” window, select “History.”
  4. In the “History” window, select “Tabs.”

Open up the shortcut for Chrome (if Pinned on Windows 7, Shift+Right-Click for the context menu), and then add the following—note that there should be two dashes there.

Now you can right-click on the title bar, or use the Shift+Esc shortcut key to bring up Chrome’s Task Manager.

Hit the Purge Memory button, and it should clean up some of the memory (though not all of it).
