Using Clipboard Manager
The program comes in a portable format…simply unzip the zip file and add the ClipMan folder to Program Files. Create a shortcut and you are ready to go (link below).
The context menu for Clipboard Manager is short and easy to work with.
You can access the clipboard list by clicking on the system tray icon or using the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + S).
Note: You will need to set the system tray icon to always show if you prefer clicking on the icon for access.
As you copy items to your regular clipboard each new item replaces the previous one, but Clipboard Manager saves them all back for you to access later as shown here. The item in the #1 position will be the one that is currently active in the regular Windows clipboard.
Each item can be worked with using a context menu. Notice the Send to Clipboard command…select this to enter a previously copied item back to the regular Windows clipboard for use in other apps.
If needed you can even do some quick editing to images stored in Clipboard Manager.
Images will be opened in a new window as shown here.
After moving the image shown above back to the regular Windows clipboard it was easy to paste it into a different app.
The options are really simple and straightforward…you can make changes to clip window transparency, hotkeys, starting up with Windows, and more.
Conclusion
If you need to store multiple clipboard items for use in other apps then you may want to take a good look at Clipboard Manager.
