If you’re a Outlook 2007 user, you know that getting directions and maps to your contacts is a breeze. But if you’re not sure how to do it, we’ve got the solution for you. First, open Outlook and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will show you a list of your contacts. On the right side of this list, you’ll see a list of their addresses. To get directions to these addresses, just type in their addresses into the address box on the right side of the screen and click on the green arrow next to their name. Now that you have directions to your contacts, it’s time to get maps to them. Open Outlook and click on one of your contacts in the top left corner of the screen. Then click on “Maps.” You’ll be taken to a new page where you can choose which map you want to use for your contact’s address. We recommend using Google Maps because it’s easy to use and has great features like street views and satellite imagery.

If you use Outlook to store all of your contacts, you can also use it to quickly find maps and directions for your contacts by using the quick access Map button.

This is a fairly simple tip, but useful if you aren’t aware that it’s there.

Just open up one of your contacts…

And click on the Map button on the Contact tab.

MSN maps will immediately open in your default browser, centered on the address found in the contact information.

You can use this to quickly find directions by clicking the “To here” or “From here” links on the right.
